Equipment rentals through OP

Rentals are FREE for OP members. The member must be present with a valid SkyCard and current OP membership sticker.

Check-out Policies

  • Equipment may be rented for two-day periods. (Monday rentals due Wednesday; Tuesday due Thursday; Wednesday due Friday. Thursday and Friday rentals due the following Monday.)
  • Contact OP for check-outs during break periods.
  • Limit one item per type per person (e.g., one pair of skis, boots, and poles).
  • Avalanche transceivers are the only exception.
  • Returned gear must sit one day before same-user re-rental (e.g., return Monday, rent again Wednesday).
  • Late returns incur fees.
  • Resource library items may be checked out for up to seven days.
  • Fees apply for lost, damaged, or unreturned equipment.
