Fine art & graphic design internships
Make the leap from the studio to the workplace with an internship in fine art or graphic design. At Fort Lewis College, internships are your opportunity to apply what you’ve learned in class to meaningful work in creative industries—from design studios and nonprofits to galleries and museums.
You’ll gain hands-on experience, grow your portfolio, and build professional connections that prepare you for life after graduation.
To earn academic credit for your Art Internship (ART 481) or Design Internship (ART 480), you’ll need to follow a few key steps before registering.
Once all items have been completed and turned in you will receive permission to register for the class. All items must be completed, including required signatures, and submitted to the Sponsoring Professor for approval at least one week before the beginning of each semester.
