Borrow textbooks and classroom materials, like calculators, for free for the entire semester. This 100% donor-funded program is open to all students. Applications typically open two weeks before the semester starts; materials are due before the last day of classes.

Note: E-books and one-time access codes are not available through this program.

Meet with faculty in a familiar, welcoming space right here at the NAC. Participating faculty come to you, so you don't have to track down office hours across campus. Check our center for the current schedule, and encourage your favorite faculty to sign up.

Each semester, we partner with local tribal scholarship offices to host in-person workshops where you can apply for scholarships and get required documents submitted on the spot. Advisors from Skyhawk Station and Financial Aid Office are on hand to help. Past partners have included the Office of Navajo Nation Scholarship & Financial Assistance, Hopi Tribe Grants & Scholarships Program, and Native Forward.

The NAC is just one piece of a larger support ecosystem at FLC. If we can’t solve something directly, we’ll connect you with  someone who can, including the Academic Hub for tutoring or TRIO programs you may be eligible for.

Access sage, sweetgrass, cedar, and other traditional medicines throughout the semester. Students submit a short application and meet with our Wellness Coordinator to connect on individual wellness needs.

Throughout the semester, we offer opt-in workshops and sessions to support your wellbeing, including talking circles, food workshops, and culture nights.

Your wellbeing is a priority. We work closely with Student Wellbeing and the Counseling Center to make sure you're connected with the right support when you need it.

We are committed to keeping our community safe and inclusive. You can use the to report concerns about mental health, disruptive behavior, academic complaints, discrimination or bias, or any other issue affecting our campus community. You have the option to report anonymously or by sharing your information.
