Tara Trask and Ramona Pierson will visit Fort Lewis College on Wednesday, February 22 and Thursday, February 23. They will work with a number of classes, in addition to participating in several events open to the public.

For Fort Lewis College alumnus Matt Shriver, the end of his racing career didn’t spell the end of his involvement with competitive cycling. Instead, his skills and education were diverse enough to blaze new trails for himself in the cycling industry. He’s now working at the highest levels of both the sport and the industry.

A Doll's House, a three-act play in prose by Henrik Ibsen, is the first theatrical production of the Spring 2017 麻豆免费高清无砖码区Theatre Department. Originally written in 1879, the piece centers on themes of gender in society, individualism, and marriage.

Apocalyptic Planet is this year’s Fort Lewis College Common Reading Experience selection. Each year, the College selects one book for all of campus to read. The selection is integrated into classroom discussions and other College and community events. 

Fort Lewis College celebrates Martin Luther King, Jr. Day each year with a rally, choir performance, and open mic session. In recent years, social justice workshops have been added, where campus and community members can learn about activism and social change.

The old adage says that those who can’t do, teach. Joslynn Lee is flipping that adage around—those who can do well, teach even better. In addition to training scientists around the country, Lee (Chemistry, ’06) draws on her own successes as a Native STEM student to mentor others pursuing higher education in any field.
