Shoutouts

Greg Wallace - OMG Greg helped deliver HUGE and HEAVY pieces of furniture from outside of Reed Library to the third floor. There were 10 total pieces (all large like couches, sofas, dining table, etc.) and several chairs. He and his partner had to carry the sofa up the stairs to the third floor. They were wonderfully patient, kind, and couldn't have been sweeter about the whole thing. Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ¸ßÇåÎÞשÂëÇøis lucky to have them!

Lexi Allmon - Thanks to Lexi for being such a valuable member of the Katz team. We will miss her positive attitude, exceptional work quality, and ability to proactively manage multiple projects at a time. We wish you the best in your new position!

Shane Brady - I want to take a moment to publicly thank Shane for the excellent work he does in support of the Registrar's Office and Enrollment Management. When urgent problems arise—as they often do—Shane is always willing to jump in and help. His support is truly invaluable, allowing my team to accomplish the critical work we do to serve students, faculty, and staff.  I can say without hesitation that I could not do my job as Registrar without Shane’s outstanding support. His help, patience, and exceptional problem-solving skills make a real difference every day.  Thank you, Shane—we are lucky to have you at FLC, and I appreciate everything you do.

Victoria Barclay - Victoria has just been such a solid human and team member this past year (and every year!) on so many levels. She has a powerful way of supporting survivors of violence and students seeking support for basic needs on campus, showing up for them with quiet confidence and expert knowledge. She also contributes so fully as Counseling Center team member, and graciously helped train our new Administrative Coordinator during a very busy time in February. But the biggest reason I'd like to recognize her now is her latest fundraising accomplishment for the Survivor Support Fund, which provides emergency financial assistance to survivors of interpersonal violence at FLC. This year, on her own, Victoria put together an email campaign and worked with the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ¸ßÇåÎÞשÂëÇøFoundation to get a target donor population to send an ask to, as well as do an employee giving ask, all during Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April. This was the first time we've been able to work with the Foundation this way for this fund. Not only were her email open rates through the roof, she raised $2100!
