EHS conducts building safety audits on our buildings to find and fix safety issues. As I went through Whalen's building, I went into the custodial closet and found one of the cleanest and well kept space I have seen on campus. Hats off to Nellie for the excellent work. In safety, "Housekeeping" is a critical function that prevent fire, trip hazards, equipment failure and illness. It is often overlooked in lieu of getting the job done. I cannot express enough gratitude for this space and Nellie's committment to keeping it safe.

Renee has been the wind beneath our wings with events, and this nomination is long overdue. Her attention to detail, creative energy, and overall amazing personality have lifted the work we do to unimaginable heights. It's beyond time for her to be recognized for her contributions to Fort Lewis College.

In the past week, Shannon has gone above and beyond to help her fellow Skyhawk Station team members. When asked to work longer hours so that we could host our semesterly Holds Bash and have a Financial Aid presence, Shannon committed to the cause with enthusiasm. Later in the week, Shannon proactively committed more of her time to help Skyhawk Station train some of our newest team members in Admission. Knowing all that Financial Aid does for us on a daily basis, we're so grateful that Shannon continuously makes time for Skyhawk Station and invests in the success of our shared work.
