Consult someone for guidance
Your department chair is your first point of contact. If the concern is with your department chair, you can reach out to your associate dean. Your chair or associate dean may be able to help you resolve the issue. This is a good first step even if you also submit a concern through our reporting system.
Report a concern
You can report a concern through the Report a Concern form (add link) These reports will be received by the appropriate office. This includes concerns about someone’s well-being as well as concerns related to disruptive behavior and conflicts. If there are specific parties who you do not want to be aware that you submitted a concern, you can indicate that on the form:

Report a Title IX concern
You can report a concern involving sexual misconduct, discrimination, or bias through the . This will go to our Title IX Coordinator or Director of Compliance.
What are the grounds and procedure for filing a grievance?
The grounds and procedure for filing a grievance are detailed in the Faculty Handbook, Part II.A.20 (add link). Grievances are used for specific decisions or actions of administrators (including department chairs) that negatively impact faculty in their academic and/or professional capacity.
