Become a Chemistry Peer Mentor or TA
Each semester, the Chemistry & Biochemistry Department, along with the Peer Education Center, hires peer mentors to support student learning in courses and laboratories. We recruit students interested in serving as a tutor or teaching assistant (TA) for Chem 150, 151, 250, or 251. Tutoring hours can fit your schedule, and we have labs running mornings, midday, and afternoons, Monday鈥揟hursday.
To be eligible, you must have successfully completed the lecture and lab course you want to assist with. Peer Mentors/TAs are compensated either through course credit or an hourly wage鈥攃hoose the option that works best for you.
