Arriving by air

Directions from the airport

  1. When exiting the airport, follow CO 172 to U.S. 160 West.
  2. U.S. 160 becomes U.S. 160–550.
  3. When it splits, follow U.S. 550 to College Drive.
  4. Turn right onto College Drive and follow for 1.8 miles.
  5. Turn left onto Fort Lewis Drive and follow signs to the Admission Office.

Driving to campus by car

The main highways to Durango are U.S. 550 and U.S. 160.

Driving from the Denver area

  1. From U.S. 285 South, turn right on CO 112 heading west to Del Norte.
  2. In Del Norte, turn right onto U.S. 160.
  3. Follow U.S. 160 West into Durango.
  4. U.S. 160 becomes U.S. 160–550.
  5. When it splits, follow U.S. 550 to College Drive.
  6. Turn right onto College Drive and follow for 1.8 miles.
  7. Turn left onto Fort Lewis Drive.
  8. Follow signs to the Office of Admission.

Driving from the Grand Junction area

  1. Take U.S. 50 South to U.S. 550 South to Durango.
  2. U.S. 550 becomes Main Avenue.
  3. Follow Main Avenue through downtown Durango to 8th Street.
  4. Turn left on 8th Street.
  5. When it dead-ends, turn left on 8th Avenue.
  6. Follow to the top of the hill.
  7. At the traffic light, turn left and follow signs to the Office of Admission.

Driving from Colorado Springs and Pueblo areas

  1. Take I鈥�25 South to U.S. 160 West into Durango.
  2. U.S. 160 becomes U.S. 160–550.
  3. When it splits, follow U.S. 550 to College Drive.
  4. Turn right onto College Drive and follow for 1.8 miles.
  5. Turn left onto Fort Lewis Drive.
  6. Follow signs to the Office of Admission.

Driving from Albuquerque, New Mexico

  1. Take U.S. 550 North to Durango.
  2. Follow U.S. 550 North to College Drive.
  3. Turn right onto College Drive and follow for 1.8 miles.
  4. Turn left onto Fort Lewis Drive.
  5. Follow signs to the Office of Admission.
