Freedom to decorate: Feel free to use posters, pictures, plants, chairs, and throw rugs to make the space your own.
Additional furnishings: You may bring items like bookshelves and side tables, but space is limited. Be aware that large pieces may not fit comfortably. College-provided furnishings must remain in the room and cannot be stored elsewhere.
Protecting surfaces:
Prohibited actions: Painting your room is not allowed.
Damage responsibility: Be mindful that charges will be applied for damages beyond regular wear and tear upon move-out.
All students with vehicles must obtain a parking permit. Permits issued by the Police & Parking Services Office.

A communal microwave is available in the lounge or office area of each residence hall.
Prohibited appliances: Items with open heating elements, portable AC units, swamp coolers, air fryers, and dishwashers are not allowed for safety reasons.
Loft kits are available for Camp, Crofton, Escalante, Cooper, Animas, West, and Bader/Snyder residences. A loft kit order form is sent out over the summer to have a kit installed before move-in day. Students may also request through building staff on a first-come, first-served basis starting Fall and Spring Check-In Day.
Costs and billing: A $50 fee for a loft kit will be charged to your student account. Removal requests made within 60 days of the loft being built will incur a $50 removal fee.
