  1. Do you need access to a departmental share? - Many departments have shared drives that they use to share information within the department. Your supervisor may request access to the drive by submitting a ticket in the . 
  2. Do you need access to a shared network departmental printer? - Access to departmental printers is limited to those working within the department. Your supervisor may request access for you by submitting a ticket in the .
  3. Do you need access to a shared email inbox? Some department have an email address to route general inquiries such as invoices, support questions, or requests. Work with your supervisor to determine if you need access to a shared email inbox. If so, send in a request ticket to IT in the . 
  4. Do you need a phone number, or a physical phone?  If you are filling a previously existing position it is likely that a Teams phone number was assigned to your predecessor, which will be reassigned to you as part of your new hire onboarding. If you are in a new position, you may need to request a Teams phone number. Teams compatible headsets can be purchased by a department p-card if you require one for phone calls. If you require a physical phone, you will need supervisor approval to incur the one-time equipment cost on a department budget. Send in a request ticket to IT in the  to request a phone number and/or a physical phone. 
  5. Do you need access to an office space that requires a key or Skycard scan? If you are assigned an office on campus, you will likely required access the room with a key or Skycard. Your supervisor will need to request a physical key through Physical Plant. Send in a request ticket to IT in the  if the space requires scanning a Skycard to add appropriate access.
