About Nora Flucke
Dr. Flucke is an Associate Professor of Public Health and directs Fort Lewis College’s Community Health Worker (CHW) Certificate Program, a CDPHE-accredited CHW training for Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ¸ßÇåÎÞשÂëÇøstudents and community members. In and outside of the classroom, Dr. Flucke creates experiential learning experiences and mentors undergraduate research students according to each student’s career goal.
As a principal investigator, Dr. Flucke conducts clinical studies in cancer navigation. She holds the patent for the Oncology Nurse Navigator Patient Assessment© (ONNPA©), an instrument used in the clinical oncology setting. Dr. Flucke’s research has been disseminated in prominent peer-reviewed publications, to which she regularly contributes as a peer reviewer of articles and book chapters.
