Great public speaking skills enhance our ability to educate, inspire and persuade others. Here at Fort Lewis College, almost all students engage in some type of research, particularly during their senior year. This spring, as we approach the Undergraduate Research Spring Symposium & Awards Gala, which is taking place on April 23, 2026, you are invited to participate in two "Communicating Your Research" workshops. The first workshop focused on audience, content and developing your introduction. This second workshop will focus on physical oral presentation skills--voice, eyes, hands and stance. Join us to develop and delivery an excellent 10-minute talk. Two participants from the workshop (or FLC415 class) will be selected to give TED-like talks at the Awards Gala happening at the end of the day on April 23rd. Please join us as this workshop. There will be food!
