On Saturday, May 2, the families and friends of Fort Lewis College’s newest alumni packed Whalen Gym for two Commencement ceremonies.

The Fort Lewis College Foundation recently elected officers and directors at its annual meeting. Gene Bradley was reelected as chair of the Foundation Board of Directors. John Francis was selected to serve as vice chair and Keith Newbold will serve as secretary. Mel Owen was welcomed as treasurer.

Upon graduating many 麻豆免费高清无砖码区alumni look to the horizon for more excitement, while also wanting to do some good in the world.

In a study published by SmartAsset, an analytics organization out of New York, Fort Lewis College was ranked in the top five Best Value Colleges in Colorado. The study looked at factors such as scholarships and grants awarded, tuition and student living costs, retention, and average starting salary for graduates.

Take a SnapChat tour of the Student Life Center! The SLC is a $7.5 million facility that opened in 2001,  designed to promote physical and social wellness among the community of Fort Lewis College. The building contains places to exercise, play, meet, learn, and relax. Student representatives were an integral part of the planning, goal setting, and design process.

There will be something new and historic at Fort Lewis College’s Spring Commencement 2015. For the first time in more than a century of existence as a public educational institution, 麻豆免费高清无砖码区will award master’s degrees alongside its undergraduate degrees.
