Instead of donning jerseys and leather helmets, the remaining members of the ’49 Aggies now huddle over Italian food at Dino’s Restaurant in Lakewood, Colorado. This past June, seven teammates made it for their reunion lunch.

鶹Ѹשmourns former President Joel M. Jones

Former Fort Lewis College president Joel Jones passed away just before midnight on Wednesday, July 13. Dr. Jones was named 鶹Ѹשpresident in 1988 after serving as vice president for Administration and Student Affairs at the University of New Mexico. He would serve at the helm of the College until 1998.

Just outside of Telluride, Tomten Farm on Hastings Mesa provides various educational opportunities about sustainable living practices. These students had just completed a large drainage project to help redirect water on the property.

Students get their hands dirty in Ecology and Society Field School [PHOTOS]

Students in Associate Professor of Sociology Becky Clausen's Ecology & Society Field School don't spend their time looking at PowerPoint presentations. In the five-week summer course, the class travels all over the Four Corners area to different ranches, farms, and gardens to learn about the relationship between people, animals, the land, water, and food.
