麻豆免费高清无砖码区Foundation Board member and long-time 麻豆免费高清无砖码区benefactor Richard Ballantine has been recognized for his generosity and service. Ballantine has been awarded the 2018 Council for Advancement & Support of Education (CASE) District VI Volunteer of the Year Award.

This fall, the Exercise Science Learning Community traveled to Farmington, New Mexico, for a half-day high ropes challenge. There, the students practiced teambuilding exercises with the same peer group that takes several core classes together as a cohort.

The Outlook offers presentations from experts in business and economics who will give their views on the current status of the economy for the Four Corners region, Colorado and the nation. Their insights and predictions will provide useful information for anyone wishing to get an idea of what’s ahead for 2018 and beyond.

Over 170 Skyhawks graduated from Fort Lewis College on the cold sunny morning of December 16, 2017. The students enjoyed a Commencement Address from Eric Huggins, professor of Management and winner of the Alice Admire Teaching Excellence Award. The recent announcement by the Department of the Interior that it proposes to reduce the size of Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante national monuments in Utah is one of the most high-profile changes to public lands in recent history. And Jon Harvey, assistant professor of Geosciences, is helping the public and his students understand those changes through interactive GIS maps.

Fort Lewis College Winter Commencement will take place on Saturday, December 16 at 10 a.m. in Whalen Gym. Around 170 Skyhawks will bring their undergraduate careers to a close on this exciting day.
